Anup Sridhar was one of the finest international Badminton players to represent India for over 10 years. He spent several years training in Denmark, France, Indonesia, Malaysia & India under the best coaches in the world.
He has defeated some of the toughest opponents in the world like former World Champion Taufik Hidayat from Indonesia, Sung Hwan Park from Korea & Shoji Sato from Japan.
He won a bronze medal in the 2006 Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Australia. Anup is also very famous for hitting the hardest recorded smash in world Badminton history.
He was bestowed upon with the Eklavya Award in 2004 and the Young Achievers Award & the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2008.
